The "ECIS-Zθ" is a cell analysis device that monitors cell dynamics and morphology in real-time without using labels such as fluorescent markers. The operation is very simple; after placing the well in the incubator and pressing the start button, data is automatically collected until the end of the experiment. Using a dedicated well with electrodes, it measures changes in the impedance value (electrical resistance) of the cells. It is possible to non-invasively monitor cell events over a short period to more than 100 hours.
